About the Series
My Sketchbook Series started back in 2012. It began both as a way to experiment with colors, techniques, and ideas, as well as a way to ease the obstacles of chronic anxiety. There are no rules as to how I create each work. Color is an integral tool that I employ to visualize the concepts and subjects I create; the pages range from complex, vibrant collages to minimalist drawings or paintings. With each new composition, I hope the viewer has some sort of visceral or psychological connection or understanding about what is happening within each composition; there are no right or wrong readings of each work.
